ABOUT MJ AND JC MAULEON
Jean-Claude's first passions were old books, ancient coins and antiquities. A collector for 50 years, his interest in Asian art blossomed during his first posting in Asia in 1972.Since then, Marie-Josee and Jean-Claude have been serious and passionate collectors of Asian and African art, including both primitive and classical pieces as well as antiquities from all over the world.
Since their return from the Fast East in 1992, they have owned and managed an antique gallery, first in Montreal, Canada, and now in France. They were among the first to open their on-line gallery at www.trocadero.com which was previously named "Galerie Orients-Extremes". They changed the name some 10 years ago to better reflect the range of pieces they offer.
