Carriage bell of spherical shape with an embossed ring design at mid-level and a flat loop on top for attachment. Gilt bronze, thick encrusted green patina with reddish areas. China, Warring States Period (475~221 B.C.). Height: 3 1/4" (8,2cm). Old accident on upper side (see photo), otherwise good condition.

Small altar resting on four legs, representing Buddha, in seemingly "abhaya mudra" or "abhaya and varada mudra" (hands posture expressing charity, blessing and protection) sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne backed by a "mandorla" (pointed halo or aureole). Pair of earrings made of gold, with central boss decorated with central blue glass bead and borders of two concentric circles of tiny beads, and with a wire attachment. Reddish patina, glass beads with silvery iridescence. Rome, Middle Eastern Region, 3rd century A.D. Height: 1 1/8" (3cm). Very good condition.

Statue of a Taoist dignitary in formal attire, holding his mandarin tablet("hu" in Chinese language) in both hands, and standing on a square pedestal resting on four feet. The face bears a strong Tang Dynasty stylistic influence. Bronze, with dark-gren patina, and remnants of the original gilding. The statue was cast in China during the Ming Dynasty (1368~1644 A.D.). Small bracelet made of glass, found in an archeological digging. Philippines, Luzon Island, Ifugao Peoples. Dimensions: outside diameter: around 2 1/2" (around 6,5cm), inside diameter: around 2" (5 cm). Obvious signs of a long stay underground, large calcification and soil stains, otherwise good condition.

Belt hook with rectangular plate decorated with forged pierced through design of a dragon in clouds, attached to a large loop. Gilt iron. Tibet, 19th century. Length (4 5/16" (11 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand that enhances its beauty. Obvious signs of use and age, some oxidization, gilding partly gone, otherwise good condition.

Small cylinder seal with carved design of two fighters facing each other and a cross-like symbol behind the character on the right side. Black stone. Mesopotamia, Neo-Assyrian Period, Ca 730~600 B.C. Height: 11/16" (1,8 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand on which a patinated plaster imprint of its design is affixed. Slight erosion, otherwise good condition.

Belt hook with a dragon head at its top, and a rounded body, and with a button at the back for attachment to the leather belt. Bronze, green patina, partly encrusted, with reddish areas (a sign of great age). China, Warring States Period (475~221 B.C.). Height: 2 5/8" (6,6 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom plexi stand. A slight dent was made at the lower front side (see photo) during excavation, otherwise condition is very good.

Statue of a protective deity, squatting on a rounded base, hands in praying posture. Wood, brownish patina. Himalayan Region, early 19th century, probably earlier. Height: 13 1/4" (33 cm). Obvious signs of great age, erosion, age cracks, otherwise good condition. Note: this statue was located in a house, to ward off evil spirits. NOTE: this statue is part of several pieces which were collected in the Himalayan Region from 1974 to 1979.

Ink pot of circular shape resting on a semi-spheric base. The whole piece is decorated, on its lid with a geometric design, on its body with a double dragon (on one side) and foliage and geometric design (on both sides), and on its base with a lotus and geometric design.
