Important incense burner ("boshanlu" in Chinese), of ovoid shape resting on a stemmed base. The censer is decorated on its lid with an openworl design representing mount Boshan of the Taoist paradise, or maybe the three legendary islands Penglai, Fangzhang and Yingzhou, together with several scenes of humans and animals either alone or opposed. Small belt hook, main part with an oval shape, its short stem ending in a finely cast dragon head. Round knob at the back for attachment to a leather belt. Bronze, with encrusted dark-green patina. Metal partly showing on the main part (was probably "cleaned" during archeological digging). China, Warring States Period (-475/-221). Height: 1 5/8" (4 cm). Very good condition.

Belt hook with a flat central part in the shape of a coiled dragon in relief, a long stem ending in a stylized dragon head. Knob at the back for attachment to the leather belt. Bronze, with reddish-green patina. China, Han Period, Ordos Culture. Height: 4 1/8" (10,5 cm). Excellent condition. A rather unusual piece.

Funereal mirror of round shape. Obverse with a relief design of chimeras and dragons, framed with geometric motive. Reverse is flat. Bronze, with nice encrusted red and green patina. China, Jin Dynasty (936-946 A. D.). Diameter; 5 1/4" (13,2 cm). Slight dent on the rim, otherwise very good condition. A fine piece. Note: a short-lived Barbarian dynasty, the Jin are said to be the founders of Peking. Belt hook with a stylized dragon head at its top. Bronze, with green,partly encrusted, patina and traces of fabric embedded in the bronze oxidization on the front lower part. China, Warring States Period (475~221 B.C.). Height: 3 11/16" (9,5 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom plexi stand. Very good condition.

Pair of plaques in the shape of not entirely identical snarling tigers, with a hole at shoulder level for attachment. Bronze, with red, blue and green partly encrusted patina. China, Han Dynasty Period, Ordos Culture. Length: 3 1/2" and 3 5/8" (8,7 and 9,1 cm). The pair is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. A crack on the smallest piece, otherwise very good condition.
