Exquisite small tripod incense burner, its semi-spherical body decorated with a relief design of lotuses, with a flat handle on each side in the shape of a cloud, its lid with a pierced through lotus decor and a handle on top representing a stylized dragon. Bronze, with green patina, partly encrusted beneath. China, Ming Dynasty Period (1368-1644 A.D.). Height: 4 7/8" (11,5 cm). Very good condition. An exceptional piece.
Carriage bell, of spherical shape, with a decorative circle in relief around the mid-section. Gilt bronze, with beautiful partly encrusted green, reddish and blueish patina. China, Warring States period (475-221 B.C.). Height: 3" (7,7 cm). The bell is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accident on the upper side (see photo), otherwise good condition.
Incense burner of circular shape with a short foot, decorated with a lion's head on both sides. Apocryphal reign mark (Xuan De, Ming Dynasty 1426-1435) beneath. Bronze, with green/brown patina. China, 19th century, maybe earlier. Diameter: 5 1/8" (13 cm), height: 3 1/8" (8 cm). The censer was used as a pen holder by its former owner, thus the presence of old ink stains inside. Very good condition.
