Small ritual cup in the shape of a "kapala" (upper section of a skull) with, around its rim, a diademed deity head flanked by two skulls at the front and a skull at the back, the whole piece resting on an oval foot. Bronze, with traces of greenish patina in the recesses. Tibet, 16th century. Dimensions: length: 3 3/16" (8,2 cm), height: 2 3/16" (5,5 cm). Mask representing the face of a tiger, with small ears, protruding forehead, relief eyebrows, recessed eyes pierced through, thin nose, carved open mouth showing teeth, small chin.
