Tiny statue of Hindu god Vishnu, standing on a pillar base, his four arms holding his attributes (lotus flower, club, conch and wheel or chakra). Bronze, strongly eroded, with remnants of red ritual paste. India, 16th century, maybe earlier. Height: 1 7/8" (4,8 cm). Good condition.

Small statue of Lakshmi, standing on a circular flat base in "abhanga" posture, wearing a simple "dhoti", a diadem and jewellery, holding a lotus in her left hand and a small gift in her right hand. Bronze, fine reddish green patina. India, 18th century. Height: 3 1/2" (9 cm). Erosion all over, otherwise very good condition. Small seal in the shape of a bird, its wings with geometric motifs, and a circular seal beneath. Bronze, with green encrusted patina. India, Indus Valley Culture, Ca. 3rd millenium B.C. Dimensions: length: 1 13/16" (4,5 cm), height: 5/8" (1,6 cm), width: 1 5/8" (4,3 cm). Very good condition. A rather rare piece. Ex. old French collection.
