Tall goblet, cylindrical shape with flaring rim. Silver, embossed with superimposed designs of inverted hearts, foliage, flower pots in lobed frames, lotus petals, all around the body. Thailand, 19th century. Height: 4 15/16" (12,2 cm). Fine darkish patina. Perfect condition.

Large buffalo bell decorated with floral and bird design around its upper part. Burmese writing on each side. Loop on top for attachment. Bronze, with fine green patina. Burma, 19th century. Height: 4 1/2" (11,5 cm). Very good condition.

Opium weight in the shape of a mythical animal ("singha") standing on a square sloping base. Bronze, fine dark-green patina. Burma, 18th century. Height: 2 1/2" (6,5 cm). Very good condition despite overall erosion.

Euros 150 

A beautiful and very fine solid silver tribal pipe which belonged to a member of the Lawa Tribes who live in the Golden Triangle Region, North of Burma, Thailand and Laos, the area where opium is grown. The bowl is in the stylized shape of a poppy, while the stem is nicely curved and adorned with geometric design. North Laos, 19th century. Fine darkish patina. Obvious signs of use and age. A very attractive and genuine old piece of tribal art of the Golden Triangle.

Large bracelet of flat shape decorated with a relief geometric design. Bronze, with dark-green patina. Philippines Archipelago, Mindanao Island, 19th century. Diameter: 4 3/4" (12 cm). Very good condition. Collected in the Philippines in 1978. A rather rare piece.
