Large mask with round coiffe, small ears, concave face with oval pierced through eyes, long triangular nose in relief, small cylindrical mouth also in relief, pointed chin. Wood, with dark-brown glossy patina and traces of white pigment in the recesses. Africa, D.R. Congo/Angola, Lulua Peoples, Lwalwa tribal sub-group. Height: 15 1/4" (39 cm).
