Fine hunter's slingshot, its handle carved in the shape of a human bust on its front and an inverted mask at its back. Wood, with honey coloured patina. Africa, Ivory Coast, Baule Peoples. Height: 6 1/2" (16,5 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Some age cracks, slight erosion and wear, otherwise very good condition.

Sling carved in the shape of a human female head at the tip of its handle. Wood, with fine glossy honey colour patina. Africa, Ivory Coast, Baule Peoples. Height: 7 1/4" (18,5 cm). The sling is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Erosion all over, otherwise very good condition. Ex. old French collection.

Sling, carved in the shape of a human female head at the tip of its handle and decorated with an incised geometric design in its middle front side. Wood, with fine glossy patina. Traces of green and black pigments. Africa, Ivory Coast, Baule Peoples. Height: 8 1/2" (21,5 cm). The sling is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Erosion, old insect infestation (no danger, no major damage) at the back, age crack at back of head, otherwise good condition. Ex. old French collection.
