Censer in the shape of a standing lion. Bronze, with encrusted green patina. Strong Persian aesthetic influence. Bactria and Margiana Civilisation (2300 - 1700 B.C.). Length: 11.3 cm. Height: 10.2 cm. Very good condition.

Bronze, with remnants of the original gilding. Nepal, 15th to 16th century, maybe earlier. Height: 8.3 cm. The statue is mounted on a plexi stand. Very good condition. NOTE: collected in situ in 1974.

A fine cricket cage, composed of a body made from a gourd and a rim and lid made of ivory. The lid itself is nicely carved to represent a lotus and foliage around surmounting an openwork geometric design. Its silk case, partly damaged, is joined to the cage. China, 19th century. Miniature Buddhist stupa carved from rock cristal, comprising of a central stupa surrounded by four lateral smaller stupas, standing on a square base. A few stains due to a prolonged stay underground, slight abrasion, otherwise very good condition.
