Carriage bell of globular shape with a loop on top for attachment. Gilt bronze, with encrusted green and blue (malachite) patina. China, Han Dynasty Period (206 BC-220 AD). Height: 3 1/8" (8 cm). The bell is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old accident, otherwise good condition.

Jar with a bulbous body and a flaring neck. Ceramic, with an unusual reddish glaze (most similar jars of this period are green color). Remnants of soil encrustations. China, Han Dynasty Period (206 BC - 220 AD). Height: 7" (17,7 cm). Small chips around neck and base, otherwise very good condition. Ex. Old French collection.

A pair of square belt plaques, each with a relief decor of a musician sitting cross-legged on a small platform. Each plaque is backed by a flat unadorned plaque affixed to it by four pins, for attachment to the belt. Bronze, with large remnants of its original gilding and reddish green patina in some areas. Pair of plaques in the shape of not entirely identical snarling tigers, with a hole at shoulder level for attachment. Bronze, with red, blue and green partly encrusted patina. China, Han Dynasty Period, Ordos Culture. Length: 3 1/2" and 3 5/8" (8,7 and 9,1 cm). The pair is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. A crack on the smallest piece, otherwise very good condition. Small belt hook, main part with an oval shape, its short stem ending in a finely cast dragon head. Round knob at the back for attachment to a leather belt. Bronze, with encrusted dark-green patina. Belt hook of slender shape, its top ending in a stylized dragon head. Knob at the back for attachment to a leather belt. Bronze, with perpendicular linear decor at three levels, with remnants of gold inlay. Partly encrusted green patina. China, Warring States Period (-475/-221). Height: 4 3/4" (12,2 cm). Vase of flattened spheric shape, with a large flaring neck. Terracotta, fine patina. The vase bears a label from the National Museum of the Philippines in Manila, allowing it to be exported. This piece was found in the Philippines Archipelago, during an archeological digging in 1978. Dimensions: height: 5 1/2" (13,5 cm), diameter: 7" (17 cm). Very good condition despite its old age. A rare piece.
