Large disc, perforated at its center with a conical section hole. Green jade, with beige/light brown inclusions. China, Neolithic Period. Dimensions: outside diameter: 12,3 cm, inside diameter: 4,8 cm, thickness: 5 to 7 mm. There is a kind of slanted straight dent on one side of the rim, as can be seen in a few similar pieces of this period. Several chips around the rim, otherwise good condition.
NOTE; this kind of disc, commonly called "bi" disc, was supposed to symbolize Heaven.
