Lavishly decorated ink pot, resting on a flaring lotus base, with a Hindu deity in relief on each side, and a lizard in relief under the attachment loops, the neck and stopper themselves decorated with lotus and geometric design. A brass chain is attached to the ink pot. Bronze, with fine dark green patina in the recesses. Nepal, 19th century, maybe earlier. Height: 4" (10 cm). Very good condition.

Small pair of "tao tie" masks, each ending on the lower side in an open loop. This loop was meant to hold a ring. Each "tao tie" mask was affixed to the side of a vessel, now gone. Bronze, with fine green patina. China, Han Dynasty. Dimensions: height: 1 1/4" (3 cm), length: 1 1/2" (4 cm). The pair is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Good condition.

Small statue of a Buddhist monk, or "lohan" (Buddha's disciple), standing in praying posture. Bronze, with gilding on the face and hands of the statue. Reddish green patina. Small statue of Buddha wearing a diadem, in a meditative posture ("dhyana mudra"), holding a stylized beggar bowl in his hands, sitting cross-legged on a double lotus throne. Bronze, with thick encrusted green patina. Tibet, 16th century. Height: 5 1/2" (14 cm). Diadem partly chipped, a few tiny casting defects, otherwise very good condition. A rather unusual aspect of the Buddha image.

Exquisite small tripod incense burner, its semi-spherical body decorated with a relief design of lotuses, with a flat handle on each side in the shape of a cloud, its lid with a pierced through lotus decor and a handle on top representing a stylized dragon. Bronze, with green patina, partly encrusted beneath. China, Ming Dynasty Period (1368-1644 A.D.). Height: 4 7/8" (11,5 cm). Very good condition. An exceptional piece.
