SOLD 

A rather large cup, light celadon colour, with a moulded decor of stylized lotuses, in light relief, in the center, and a decor carved in relief of lotus petals at the back. China Song Dynasty Period (960-1279 A.D.). Dimensions: height: 2 1/2" (6,6 cm), diameter: 7 1/16" (18,1 cm). Remnants of the original silver cover around the rim. Small kiln defect at the back (see photo), otherwise very good condition.

Euros 395 

A rather large cup, of thin thickness, light celadon colour, with a moulded decor of lines in slight relief that are perpendicular and running from the rim to the center, and of two fishes in waves, in slight relief, in the center. The back is not decorated. There are traces of brown soil encrustations and remnants of the original silver cover around the rim. China, Song Dynasty Period (960-1279 A.D.). Bowl of open conical shape, with very short footring. Ceramic, of fine celadon colour, with traces of light brown colour coming from a long stay underground. Carved floral decoration inside. The rim still keeps traces of its original silver cover. China, Song Dynasty (960-1279). Diameter: 6 3/8" (16,4 cm), height: 1 5/16" (3,4 cm). Slight erosion and minute chips around the rim, otherwise very good condition. A charming piece.

China, Song Dynasty (960-1279). Diameter: 6 15/16" (17,6 cm), height: 2 2/8" (5,7 cm). Very slight erosion, otherwise very good condition.

Small vase with a long neck surmounting a semi-globular body, itself resting on a flaring foot. Ceramic, with light celadon colour, traces of brownish soil encrustations under the glaze in some areas. China, Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Height: 5 3/4" (15 cm). Very good condition.

Ceramic snuff bottle of slender cylindrical shape, decorated on its body with a very finely hand-painted landscape design and a geometric design around its neck, all of deep blue colour. Silver spoon and stopper with glass inlay. China, 18th century (reign mark beneath). Height (without stopper): 3" (7,5 cm). Chips around base, otherwise very good condition.
