| Iron sword guard ("tsuba"). Superb silhouette decor forming two concentric circles and an arrow point design on top and bottom at the center. The tsuba is signed "Shoami Shigenobu Saku". Japan, 18th century. Height: 2 7/8" (7,4cm). Excellent condition despite some erosion and oxidization. | |||||
