| Small octogonal box, probably used to carry pills, with a nicely embossed design of flowers on the sides and of a dragon amid clouds spitting fire on top of the lid. Silver with fine darkish patina. Thailand, 19th century. Height: 1" (2,5 cm), width: 1 15/16" (5 cm). This box was crafted by a Chinese artist, and his signature is finely stamped in Chinese characters beneath the box. Excellent condition despite signs of use and age. | |||||
