| Reliquary head, of typical style, surmounting a large and long neck with a flat bottom. Wood, with fine glossy dark-brown patina. Small bronze eyes. Africa, Gabon, Fang Peoples. Height: 16 1/2" (42 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Obvious signs of use and age, erosion all over, chips in some areas, otherwise very good condition. | |||||||||
