| Loom pulley carved in the shape of a calao bird head at its top, and decorated on the rest of its body with incised lines. Wood, with beautiful dark-brown glossy patina. Africa, Ivory Coast, Guro Peoples. Height: 6 3/4" (17 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Old age crack, old insect infestation at back of bird head (no major damage, no danger), erosion, otherwise good condition. Ex. old French collection. | |||||||||
