| Belt composed of three leather parts on which five gilt iron plates and a gilt iron buckle are affixed. The plates are nicely wrought to show a geometric and floral decor. They are also used as links, with loops, between the three parts and with the buckle. Tibet, 19th century, maybe earlier. Length: around 38" (around 95 cm). Obvious signs of use and great age, otherwise good condition. Old French collection, collected in the Himalayan region in the early seventies. | |||||||||
