| Small statue of Buddha Sakyamuni, wearing monk's robes, in "bhumisparsa mudra", sitting on a semi-circular platform. Tiny hole beneath. Lacquered and gilt wood. Burma, 19th century. Height: 5 1/4" (13,3 cm). Thin age crack around the neck (no danger), otherwise very good condition. A very nicely carved statue. | |||||||||
