| Statue of a kneeling man, wearing stylized necklace and bracelets. The piece was carved from an elephant bone. It seems some sacrificial material was stuffed on top and beneath the statue. Africa, R.D. Congo, Lega Peoples. Height: 10 3/4" (27,5 cm). Beautiful brown glossy patina, obvious signs of age and use, very good condition. Note: this kind of piece is rare. | |||||||||
