| Box in the shape of a large egg on an elevated base, with small lid. Wood, with geometric design around body and rooster carved in the round on top of lid. A cord links lid to body. Beautiful dark glossy patina. Indonesia, Sumba Island. Height: 9 1/2" (24 cm). Erosion all over, some small dents, old traces of infestation, otherwise very good condition.
