| Very old statue of unknwon god, wearing formal robes and cap, sitting on a throne. Remnants of moustache and beard under nose and chin. Wood, with traces of the original gilding and painting. China, early Ming Dynasty, most probably earlier. Height: 11 1/4" (28,5 cm). Small chips in some areas, old insect infestation (no danger), otherwise good condition. | ||||||||||||
