| Cosmetic palette of circular shape. Obverse carved with a chimera on top, and geometric design on bottom. Reverse incised with stylized lotus design. Green schist, with soil encrustations in some areas. Pakistan, Gandhara graeco-buddhist art, circa 3rd century. Diameter: 4 1/2" (11 cm). Chips around the rim, otherwise good condition. | ||||||
