| Archer's ring, of cylindrical shape, with a flat side. Green jade, with brown inclusion on the flat side. China, Han Dynasty Period (-206/+220). Dimensions: height: 1 1/16" (2,7 cm), diameter: 1 3/16" (3,2 cm). Some tiny chips due to a long use and a great age, otherwise good condition. NOTE: in ancient China, archer's rings were used to protect the archer's thumb against a potential wound by the bow string. | |||||||||
