| Small statue of a Buddhist devotee standing on a cloud, in praying posture. Bronze, with dark-green encrusted patina. China, Song Dynasty period (960-1279). Height: 4" (10,5 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom plexi stand. Very good condition despite its great age. NOTE: this statue was certainly part of a whole group, as it must have been standing at the side of a larger Buddha statue. A rather rare piece. | |||||||||
