| Statue of Buddha wearing diadem, in full regalia, his hands in didactic posture, sitting cross-legged on a double lotus throne. Wood, with large remnants of the original gilding. China, early Ming Dynasty (14th century), probably earlier. Height: 10 1/2" (26 cm). Several old accidents, but good condition considering the statue very old age. | |||||||||
