| Small pair of "tao tie" masks, each ending on the lower side in an open loop. This loop was meant to hold a ring. Each "tao tie" mask was affixed to the side of a vessel, now gone. Bronze, with fine green patina. China, Han Dynasty. Dimensions: height: 1 1/4" (3 cm), length: 1 1/2" (4 cm). The pair is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Good condition. | |||||||||
