| Statue of Bodhisattava Manjusri, in formal attire, wearing diadem, his hands in "abhaya/varada mudra" (posture of blessing, protection, compassion), his head slightly turned towards the left, sitting cross-legged on a large lotus throne. Bronze, with fine green patina. China, Ming Dynasty Period. Height: 11" (28 cm). Some casting defects at the lower left side of the neck, at the right knee (see picture number 6), and at the base of the lotus throne (see photo), otherwise very good condition. | ||||||||||||||
