| Container made of bamboo, covered with a finely woven bamboo slices basketry. The lid is made of wood, carved in the shape of a human head. Philippines Archipelago, Luzon Island, Ifugao Peoples. Height: 15 1/2" (39,5 cm). Nice dark-brown patina. Obvious signs of use and age, otherwise very good condition. A rare piece, collected in the mid 1970s in situ, during my 20 years stay in Asia. | |||||||||||||
