Statue of Bodhisattva Sadaksari Lokesvara, the four-armed deity seated in "dhyanasana" on a double lotus throne, his principal arms in prayer posture ("anjali mudra"), the other hands wearing the rosary (""ashamala") on the right side and a lotus of absolute purity on the left side. Ceramic "tenmoku" bowl of classical shape with thick rim and small base. Fine glazing of "hare fur" type, part of which has run down gracefully to the base. Large snuff bottle, made of silver, of circular and flat shape, lavishly decorated with animal, floral and geometric design on one side and foliage, lotus and geometric design on the other side. Tiny silver stopper at the end of a small spout on top of the bottle. Opening on one side to allow access to the tobacco powder, with relief stylised lotus decor, on one of the two sides. Rare and important head of a bearded centurion wearing his helmet, his face showing a strong and fierce expression. Polychrome wood. Eyes made of glass painted inside. Of Spanish origin, dating back to the 18th century, this head was found in the Philipines in 1978. Height: 30.3 cm.
