Porcelain cup, decorated in the style of the Ming pieces, painted in blue on a white background, with concentric designs representing a chimera in the center surrounded by flowers and foliage. A similar decoration is painted on the sides. The foot is crenellated and, underneath, another foliage design surrounds a Ming reign ( Xuan De) mark. China, Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Diameter: 22.7 cm. Height: 6.6 cm. Very good condition. Provenance: old Japanese collection.
